Library FAQs

The LBCC Library building is closed, but you can still access our services and collections. Learn more on our COVID-19/ Remote Services page.

How do I access course reserves?

Textbooks currently check out for the whole term. This means fewer people will have access to them.

For students

  • Contact the Reference Desk for help finding a print or digital copy of the book in the library.
  • If you can't afford your course materials, contact the Roadrunner Resource Center ( for help.
For faculty
  • You can ask us to check on the availability of licensed, digital copies of books, videos, and articles.
  • If licensing isn't available, librarians can suggest similar free and open materials.
  • Librarians can also provide information about copyright and fair use to instructors who have questions about scanning and sharing materials in Moodle. Microsoft Lens and Adobe Scan are two free scanning apps that we recommend.
If you have any questions, email or call 541-917-4638.
